Racial Epithets in Court

It isn’t possible to misinterpret what’s behind the use of the word “nigger.”
Judge Calabro’s “poor me” statement that “one day somebody arbitrarily decides to end your life by calling you a bigot and a racist,” (View, Aug. 31) is typical of an unfortunate situation that’s prevalent in today’s society: refusing to take responsibility for one’s own actions.
Calabro isn’t worthy of being a judge. Reiner recognizes that.
