Were These Guys Once Our Boyhood Heroes?

All those NFL players who cross the picket line after the strike has started and report back to work are, to me, nothing but a bunch of wimps. If there were a war on, I’d hate to be marching beside these quitters; why, they can’t even hold a candle to those players who didn’t strike in the first place.

Though I disagree with the non-strikers, I respect their opinion, but not these wimps. At first they said they were 100% behind the union. Now they cave in, quit. Macho men? Wimps, I say.
