Local News in Brief : Shuttle Will Be Free for Shoppers

Rolling Hills Estates will operate a free shuttle service within the Peninsula Center shopping area, some of which is undergoing major refurbishing. The service, to run between Nov. 9 and Jan. 10, will be for shoppers and workers and is intended to make shopping more convenient during the holiday season.
The 19-passenger van will operate on a 20-minute circuit between Hawthorne and Crenshaw boulevards and Silverspur and Indian Peak roads from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week.
