OAS Chief Hospitalized

WASHINGTON — The secretary general of the Organization of American States, Joao Baena Soares, was hospitalized Tuesday with what was described as a heart problem. OAS spokesman Edgardo Costa said that Baena Soares, a 56-year-old Brazilian diplomat, was in stable condition at George Washington University Hospital.
