Local News in Brief : Food for Crime Victims

Los Angeles County Dist. Atty. Ira Reiner launched his third annual Victims of Crime Food Drive Thursday to assist 125 low-income households in which the primary wage earners are crime victims and unable to provide for their families.
Each household will receive a shopping cart full of groceries as part of the program, which is a joint venture between the business community and Reiner’s office.
