Syncor International Adds 2 More Pharmacies

Syncor International opened specialty pharmacies in Albany, N.Y., and Fort Worth, Tex., giving it 14 such outlets that provide intravenous-therapy products to home-care patients and nursing facilities.
The pharmacies enable Syncor “to respond to the increasing emphasis on outpatient therapy,” said Monty Fu, chairman of the Chatsworth company.
Syncor operates 80 additional pharmacies that deliver specialty pharmaceuticals to hospitals.
