Times to Pay Tribute to All-Star Selections

Members of The Times All-Valley high school football team are invited to an awards program Sunday at 9 a.m. at the Anaheim Hilton Hotel, 777 Convention Way, Anaheim.

Each of the 23 players selected to the first team may bring two guests. The head coach for each player also is invited.

USC Coach Larry Smith, who will lead his team in the Rose Bowl against Michigan State on New Year’s Day, is the keynote speaker. The Times also will name the Valley Coach, Back and Lineman of the Year at the program.
