Eastern Oregon Edges Point Loma Nazarene

SAN DIEGO —  Robin Hedberg scored 25 points and had 11 rebounds Wednesday afternoon to lead Eastern Oregon State to a 75-72 victory over Point Loma Nazarene College in a nonconference women’s basketball game at Point Loma.

Cathy McConnel added 18 points for Eastern Oregon State (7-2), which rallied from a 33-30 halftime deficit. Point Loma Nazarene fell to 6-3 despite 23 points by Shannon Anderson.

Linda Johnson scored 30 points on 15-of-21 shooting and Seattle Pacific shot 59% from the field in a 90-68 victory at UC San Diego.

Gina Taylor and Lori Robinett added 14 points each for Seattle Pacific (7-2), which led, 48-32, at halftime. Nadirah Scott scored 14 for UC San Diego (2-6). Seattle Pacific shot just two free throws in the game.
