West German pilot Mathias Rust, sentenced to four years in labor camp in September for flying a light plane into Moscow’s Red Square in May, will be moved to a long-term facility, a Soviet spokesman said. Rust, 19, will be transferred from the KGB Lefortovo Prison in Moscow, Foreign Ministry spokesman Gennady I. Gerasimov said. Rust, whose pardon request was turned down last week, no longer can remain in Lefortovo, which is used only for detention before trial or while awaiting transfer to a long-term prison after trial, Gerasimov said. He did not name the facility to which Rust will be moved.
