Curfew Lifted for Town Hit by Tornado; Guard Leaves

WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. — National Guardsmen and state troopers brought in to prevent looting went home Thursday when a dusk-to-dawn curfew was lifted for the tornado-ravaged sections of this Mississippi River town, authorities said. The tornado that struck Monday night killed six people and injured 250 others.
