Novan Energy shareholders have approved the previously announced merger with American ToxxicControl, Newport Beach, as well as reincorporation in Delaware. Novan, a manufacturer of groundwater purification systems for home use, had been based in Boulder, Colo. The merger agreement calls for Novan to relocate to Newport Beach and change its name to American Toxxic Control. The company’s trading symbol has been changed from NOVN to ATCX. American Toxxic Control helps industries eliminate or reduce hazardous materials on sites.
