Local News in Brief : Brea : 5 Teen-Agers, 1 Adult Held in $2,000 Drug Buy

Brea police arrested five teen-agers and an adult Thursday afternoon on charges of selling cocaine.
An undercover officer purchased 1 1/2 ounces of cocaine, worth about $2,000, from the youths at an Alpha Beta market’s parking lot on East Imperial Highway, Detective Donald Willie reported.
Santa Ana resident David Albert Carpio, 20, was arrested and held at Orange County Jail on charges of selling cocaine. A 17-year-old Santa Ana youth was also arrested and held at Juvenile Hall in Santa Ana. A 15-year-old girl, two 16-year-old boys and a 15-year-old boy, all from Santa Ana, were held briefly, then released to the custody of their parents, Willie said.
