San Diego Comments by Downey in Poor Taste

When I read the article about San Diego in the Jan. 17 edition of The Times by Mike Downey, I couldn’t believe you would print such a put-down of our city. His remarks were untrue, sarcastic and in very poor taste.
I know you are trying to enlarge your circulation in San Diego. This kind of reporting won’t do it. I have just canceled my subscription of 35 years.
