“My family has enjoyed my Frosted Meat Loaf for many years,” Rosalind Sala writes. “I have submitted the recipe in several contests, and it has been a winner four times. This recipe can be used for any occasion. It can be prepared and baked in advance. It freezes well and is a lifesaver when unexpected company arrives.”

1 1/2 pounds ground beef
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
