West Hollywood : Appointments to 2 Panels OKd

Urban planner Elham Shirazi has been appointed to West Hollywood’s Transportation Commission by Councilman Steve Schulte to fill the unexpired term of community activist Jeanne Dobrin, who resigned Feb. 1. Shirazi will serve until June 1, 1990.
Meanwhile, council member Abbe Land has appointed Sal Guariello to the Rent Stabilization Commission.
Guariello, long active with the Coalition for Economic Survival, a renters advocate group, replaces Woody McBreairty, who resigned because he is no longer a resident of West Hollywood.
Both appointments were approved Tuesday by the City Council.
