1 Missing in Ski Avalanche

OVINDOLI, Italy — At least one man was missing after an avalanche swept across a ski slope at the Abruzzi resort of Ovindoli in central Italy on Saturday, police said. Emergency teams rescued several trapped skiers after the avalanche struck, burying the slope in 15 feet of snow.
