Phase 2 at Mission Plaza Under Way

Construction has begun on the second phase of Mission Plaza, an $8.2-million, 151,200-square-foot shopping center rising at El Camino Real and Mission Avenue in Mission Viejo.
The second phase will add a gas station and car wash to the 140,000 square feet of retail space already on the site. A third phase, scheduled to begin in April, will add a 5,100 square feet of retail shops.
Developer is San Diego-based LandGrant Development, and architect is Millard Archuleta Architects AIA, Los Angeles.
