Hiegert Selected to Hall of Fame by College Coaches

Bob Hiegert, athletic director at Cal State Northridge, has been selected for induction into the American Baseball Coaches Assn. Hall of Fame.
Hiegert, 46, retired from coaching in 1984 after leading the Northridge program for 18 years. He compiled a career record of 609-411-9 and his teams won Division II national championships in 1970 and 1984.
