Mexico’s bankrupt Aeromexico airline has resumed service to major Mexican cities with 10 planes, the news agency Notimex said. The airline’s 45 planes had been grounded since April 12, when technical employees struck to protest planned cutbacks. Aeromexico filed for bankruptcy four days later. Regional airlines and Mexicana, the country’s other major airline, have taken over some of Aeromexico’s 233 daily flights.
