Flint, McConnell to Coach All-Stars

Bob Flint of Irvine High School has been selected to coach the South team and Kevin McConnell of Valencia the North team in the 21st Orange County All-Star baseball game scheduled for 7:30 p.m. June 14 in Glover Stadium in Anaheim.
Flint’s teams have won three league titles and qualified for the Southern Section playoffs in seven of his nine years at Irvine.
McConnell is a former outfielder at Cal State Fullerton who began his coaching career at St. John Bosco in Bellflower. He has won one league title and qualified for the playoffs in five of his six seasons at Valencia.
