Duarte 6, Agoura 5--Chente Torres’ one-out, eighth-inning single drove in Reagan Gannden with the winning run.
Torres singled and moved to second on Jeff Ritter’s wild pitch. After Ritter (6-4) fell behind on the count, 2-0, he was relieved by Bob Kazmirski, who allowed Torres’ game-winning hit.
Duarte (14-8) tied the score in the seventh on sacrifice flies by Rafael Verduzco and Mario Carrillo.
The Chargers (10-10-2) had taken a 5-3 lead in the seventh on RBIs by Brian Smith, Josh Smaler and Chris Pittenger.
California 17, Calabasas 0--Calabasas (9-11-2) was outhit, 18-4, and didn’t have a hit after the fourth inning.
Chris Ingelhart, David Kalman, David Anzivino and Dave Mason had the Calabasas hits, all singles.
