Southern Section Baseball Playoffs : 2-A DIVISION

Chaminade 6, Cabrillo 2--Chaminade pushed four runners across in the fifth, capped by Greg Baumgartner’s three-run double, to wipe out a 2-0 deficit. The Eagles were held hitless through four innings by starter Steve Egan (6-3) before erupting.

Baumgartner allowed Cabrillo (9-10) two runs on three hits before giving way to Ken Meyer in the third inning. Meyer (3-1) allowed one hit and struck out six over the last 4 innings.
