George W. Brown, 53, has been named president and chief executive of Jardine Emett & Chandler Inc., effective July 1. Brown previously was chief operating officer. He replaces John Barton, chief executive of Jardine Insurance Brokers Group in London. Barton served as interim president and CEO of Jardin Emett & Chandler, an insurance brokerage based in San Francisco.
