La Quinta Trio Are Honored by Garden Grove

La Quinta High School baseball players Mark Dion, Mike Marquez and Mike Wilson were named co-players of the year in the Garden Grove League in a vote of the league’s coaches.
Dion hit .444, leading the Aztecs to the league championship. Marquez was 8-3 with a 2.12 earned-run average, and Wilson was 10-1 with an 0.98 ERA.
