United Airlines said it agreed in principle to acquire 15 mid-field terminal passenger gates at Washington Dulles Airport from Continental Airlines, a unit of Texas Air Corp. A price was not disclosed. United, a unit of UAL Corp., said Continental will sublease three of the gates from United. United said the addition of 12 gates would help it expand its East Coast hub.
