William S. Ripley III Joins Neutrogena

William S. Ripley III has been named to the newly created position of president and chief operating officer of the U.S. division of Neutrogena. Lloyd E. Cotsen, 59, continues as president and chief executive officer of the parent company, a Los Angeles maker of specialty skin-care products.
Christian Bardin, 49, remains as president of Neutrogena’s international division.
Ripley, 47, most recently was president of the marketing division of Pfaltzgraff, a subsidiary of Susquehanna Broadcasting Co. of York, Penn. Since 1969, he has held a variety of management positions with Pfaltzgraff, a supplier to independent gift stores.
“Bill Ripley brings a new dimension of marketing and management expertise to Neutrogena” Cotsen said. “Neutrogena has grown significantly over the recent years, and we look forward to the guidance Bill will provide as the company continues its momentum.”
