TURIN, Italy — Heavy rain flooded northern Italy on Thursday, blocking roads and railways and stranding campers, while forest fires spread across the heat-parched southern half of the peninsula, police said.
At least three people were injured in weather-related incidents.
The northern cities of Turin and Milan suffered severe flooding, police said.
