Incomnet, a Westlake Village maker of equipment that allows computer users to send messages to each other from their terminals, said it narrowed its loss to $195,000 in the second quarter, which ended June 30, from $530,764 a year earlier. Revenue from continuing operations rose 19% to $354,925.
For the six months, Incomnet said its loss narrowed to $309,567 from $1.0 million a year earlier. Sales from continuing operations rose 18% to $705,082.
The company said much of the loss in the first six months was caused by interest expenses and marketing costs domestically and in India.
