AMR Wraps Up Deal

AMR Corp. completed its $17.50-a-share tender offer of Simmons Airlines Inc. Aug. 8, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The Dallas/Ft. Worth Airport-based airline holding company purchased more than 4 million of Simmons’ common shares. Simmons is a Chicago-based airline company.
