Cal Thomas on ‘Christ’ Film
Let me see if I’ve got this straight. If “The Last Temptation of Christ” opened on Aug. 12, and one day earlier, 25,000 protesters objected to its release to the public, it must mean that a vast majority of these folks had not seen the movie (Part I, Aug. 12). If this is true, then thousands of people were speaking out against the content of a film they either know nothing about or know only through the eyes and ears of others. The scenario gives new meaning to the term “blind faith.”
