A 39-year-old window washer pleaded innocent to a felony charge in connection with the 49er Fire that destroyed 165 Nevada County homes last week. Gary Parris entered the plea in Nevada County Justice Court to a charge of reckless burning. He was being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
