THE PREPS : Santa Ana Takes Another League Title

Santa Ana High School overcame a sluggish first half with 21 unanswered points in the second half to score a 35-14 victory over Santa Ana Valley Friday night in front of 1,300 at Santa Ana Stadium.
The victory gives Santa Ana ( 7-3, 5-0) its fourth consecutive Century League title. Santa Ana Valley (3-6-1, 2-3) finished in fourth place.
Santa Ana scored on all 3 possessions in the second half to break a 14-14 tie.
Estrus Crayton, a senior tailback, ended a 67-yard, 8-play Santa Ana drive with a 9-yard touchdown run with 1:14 left in the third quarter as the Saints took a 21-14 lead.
