CLU Tops Master’s in Women’s Basketball

Junior forward Heidi Griffith scored 13 of her team-high 18 points in the first half as Cal Lutheran defeated The Master’s, 64-52, in an NAIA District 3 women’s basketball game Tuesday at Cal Lutheran.

Brenda Lee and Dani Elton each added 12 points for Cal Lutheran (3-7), which led at halftime, 41-33. Griffith made 8 of 14 field-goal attempts for Cal Lutheran, which outrebounded Master’s, 42-34.
