The fun and 160-point games may be over when Loyola Marymount opens West Coast Athletic Conference play tonight as host to the University of San Francisco at 7:30.
The Lions (6-5) lead the nation in scoring, are on a record pace at 116 points a game, and are coming off a 162-144 victory over U.S. International, their second 160-point game of the season.
USF, though, is coming off a 79-75 upset of Notre Dame and was involved in 2 high-scoring games against the Lions last season, with both teams in triple figures each time. Center Mark McCathrion leads the Dons (8-5) with a 16.4-point average and 7.3 rebounds.
The Lions will play host to Santa Clara Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Both games will be televised on Z Channel.
