U.S. Courthouse Closed as Transformer Explodes

PITTSBURGH, Pa. — A transformer exploded Friday at the Federal Courthouse, blowing out some windows and forcing the closing of the building for the day, but no one was injured. Utility investigators were seeking to determine what caused the explosion.
