Laser Corp. Discontinues Optical Computer Unit

SALT LAKE CITY — Laser Corp. said it discontinued the operations of its Optical Computer Inc. subsidiary, a marketer of computer-assisted graphics plotters.
Laser said it has been unable to sell OCI, but is still trying to sell certain assets. If the company has to write off all assets, the total additional pretax loss would be less than $200,000, Laser said.
