A 34-year-old man has been found shot to death, dangling from the passenger side of a pickup truck stopped on the shoulder of a freeway in San Bernardino, the California Highway Patrol reported. The man, identified as Roy Arnold, was found on the northbound side of Interstate 215 after a motorist called authorities to report a shooting. “I guess (the caller) drove past it and saw a man point a shotgun at the driver, and then we got a call a few minutes later about a body in a vehicle,” said a CHP spokesman. Initial reports said a man was seen running from the area, and several shell casings were scattered around the truck. Traffic snarled when northbound freeway lanes were closed for several hours during the investigation.
