Bryant Pitches Titans to Victory in Softball, 2-0

Anjie Bryant pitched a four-hitter as Cal State Fullerton defeated Texas A&M;, 2-0, Wednesday in a Pony softball tournament game at Cal State Fullerton.
Bryant (10-1), who has seven consecutive victories, allowed only three singles.
Fullerton (20-4) took the lead in the third inning. Carey Hess doubled to left and scored on a single by Nikki Lewis.
In the sixth, Tiny Glomboske reached first on an error and went to second on a sacrifice. She scored on an error to give the Titans a 2-0 lead.
The Titans, ranked fifth in the nation, play Akron today at 3 p.m. In other Pony tournament games, Bowling Green upset fourth-ranked Oregon, 5-1, and Cal Poly Pomona defeated Northwestern, 3-1.
