Westminster : Ceremony to Honor Man Shot to Death by Police

A tree-planting ceremony in memory of Frank Anthony Martinez, 18, who was shot and killed last year by a Westminster police officer during a violent confrontation, will be held from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday at Sigler Park.
Volunteers from Manos Unidos--the United Hands neighborhood group formed after the July 15, 1988, shooting--will help clean the park beforehand.
Refreshments will be served after the brief dedication ceremony.
