Joffrey Changes Opening Date of ‘Nutcracker’

The Joffrey Ballet will open its engagement of the “Nutcracker” at the Orange County Performing Arts Center on Dec. 13, one day later than originally announced.
Another performance has been added, Dec. 17 at 7:30 p.m., to make up the difference.
The opening was postponed because of a change in the Joffrey’s touring schedule, Center officials said Friday. The complete new schedule of performances is as follows: Dec. 13 through 16 at 8 p.m.; Dec. 16 at 2 p.m., Dec. 17 at 2 and 7:30 p.m.
