Twin Trifecta Pays New Mexico-Record $792,446

RUIDOSO DOWNS, N.M. — A group of bettors from Albuquerque and Santa Fe teamed up Saturday to win a state record $792,446.40 in the twin trifecta at Ruidoso Downs.
They combined their money to pick the first three horses in order in both the third and fourth races.
The previous record for a twin trifecta was $267,208.80 at Sunland Park on April 4, 1988.
