The Times’ article (“Haze at Grand Canyon Blamed on Power Plant,” Metro, Aug. 30) reveals the embarrassing attitude of the Bush Administration concerning its commitment to the reversal of the greenhouse effect.
Interior Secretary Manuel Lujan’s call for further study to determine the cause of the pollution of the canyon sounds like the all-too-familiar stall tactics by the previous Administration.
