The International Rowing Federation released the name of a Czechoslovakian competitor who tested positive for a banned substance in an international regatta last July.
The rower, identified as Irena Soukupova, was suspended from international competition for a year. Also implicated were Soukupova’s coach and doctor, also suspended for a year.
