An unidentified man was killed Friday when he lost control of his truck after broadsiding another vehicle on Coast Highway in Laguna Beach, authorities said.
The victim’s truck was traveling north on the highway about 5:59 p.m. and had been changing lanes when the accident occurred, said Laguna Beach Police Sgt. Mike Hall.
The Toyota pickup went into a side-skid after catching the left rear end of a Cadillac Seville and rolled over about four times before coming to rest near Catalina Avenue.
The victim was ejected from the truck and later pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, Hall said.
The female driver of the second car was taken to South Coast Medical Center and treated for minor injuries, Hall said.
