Oxnard 47, Westlake 13--Oxnard fullback Bryant Taylor rushed for 213 yards and four touchdowns in 24 carries at Oxnard to hand Westlake its second defeat.

Taylor scored on runs of 27 and seven yards as Oxnard built a 19-0 halftime lead, then added touchdown runs of two and three yards in the third quarter.

Oxnard’s Mitch Watkins rushed for 80 yards and Kenyon Lewis added 58 yards in six carries and scored on runs of 32 and 17 yards. Oxnard (2-0) gained 368 yards on the ground.

Westlake sophomore wide receiver Erik Holcomb returned a kickoff 93 yards for a touchdown.
