Oxnard 32, Rio Mesa 22--Fullback Bryant Taylor rushed for 223 yards and scored the game’s first and last touchdowns to lead the Yellowjackets at Rio Mesa.

Rio Mesa closed to within three points with 5:15 remaining on a 13-yard touchdown pass from Henry Wilson to Charles Thompson, but Taylor answered with a 49-yard scoring run to put the game out of reach. Gordy Abellera of Rio Mesa (4-4, 2-3) rushed 14 times for 51 yards, including a 24-yard touchdown run.
