PREP ROUNDUP : Dana Hills’ Mall Wins South Coast Girls’ Tennis Title

Anne Mall of Dana Hills High School won the South Coast League girls’ singles tennis title Tuesday at Dana Hills.
Mall, a freshman, defeated Page Bartelt, a sophomore from Capistrano Valley, 6-2, 6-2, in the final.
In doubles, Kelly Lynch and Jamie Fouret of Dana Hills defeated Farrah Tierney and Angela Arias of Capistrano Valley, 6-1, 6-1.
In the Olympic League individual finals:
Jennifer Bodourian of Orange Lutheran defeated Jenny James of Connelly, 6-1, 0-6, 6-4, to take the singles title at the La Habra Tennis Club.
Cherry Quiambao and Sharon Whang of Whitney defeated teammates Patty Kim and Frances Bacayo, 6-0, 6-4, for the doubles title.
