Pico Rivera : $2.9-Million Senior Center With 13 Rooms Opened

Pico Rivera has opened its new Senior Center at 9200 E. Mines Ave. to provide a central gathering place for the community’s more than 10,000 senior citizens.
The 16,500-square-foot, 13-room center was built at a cost of $2.9 million, City Manager Dennis Courtemarche said.
The Senior Center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday except holidays.
