Chapman to Battle Riverside in Volleyball

The Chapman College women’s volleyball team will play UC Riverside at 7:30 tonight in the second round of the National Collegiate Athletic Assn. Division II playoffs at Riverside.
Both teams received first-round byes. The winner of tonight’s match will advance to the NCAA final eight.
The Panthers (27-5) tied with Cal State Northridge for second in the California Collegiate Athletic Assn. Riverside (25-4), which was ranked No. 1 in the nation for part of the season, won the conference title.
Chapman and Riverside split two matches this season.
