Los Alamitos Top-Seeded at Trabuco Hills

Los Alamitos High School, with four returning starters and talented transfer Jason Cunningham, is the top-seeded team in the inaugural Trabuco Hills basketball tournament, which begins today in the Trabuco Hills gymnasium.
Los Alamitos features 6-foot-11 center Robert Conlisk, who has signed with Arizona State. Other top players scheduled to compete include Mark Wilkinson (Foothill), Greg Amaya (Mission Viejo), Rene Arias (Fullerton), Randy Kriech (Trabuco Hills) and Daryl Parker (Rancho Buena Vista).
The tournament has six teams--Trabuco Hills, El Dorado, Mission Viejo, Foothill, Fullerton and Los Alamitos--that qualified for the Southern Section playoffs last year.
The championship game is scheduled for 8:15 Saturday night. The first-round pairings:
3 p.m.--Rancho Buena Vista vs. El Dorado; 4:45--Los Alamitos vs. University; 6:30--Mission Viejo vs. Foothill; 8:15--Trabuco Hills vs. Fullerton.
